What role does music play in your day-to-day life as a creative?:
The first object I ever made was a CD rack in my Dads shed when I was nine. As rudimentary as it was it set me on the path to a life of making and music. The Workshop can get very noisy at times but out of the clamour of heavy machinery and buzzing power tools music has always been a constant companion. I tend to choose certain types of music depending on the job in hand this might be sketching out a new design or part of the making process which requires a certain level of concentration. The workshop has a no headphones policy and everyone is encouraged to create a mix or to play an artist of their choosing. Although tastes vary they are often full of surprises and above all they can create a connection.
